‘Becoming the third person perspective' is a visual articulation of a viewpoint. A higher or more objective perspective enabled by the synthesis of opposites. The self acting on the self with an objective perspective.
The final visual articulation of this work presented itself when three panels came together, (as the support is transparent the work merges into one piece). The three planes then seem to be a four-planed grid with a horizontal and vertical axis, crossing at the central point. I like to see this as the ‘being axis’ crossing the ‘time axis’ - the present. Representing the exact point when one is completely aware.
This piece was shown at The International Association of Empirical Aesthetics Art Exhibit, New York. 2014 after my submitted paper was accepted and I was and invited to take part in the exhibition organised as part of the Congress.
