THE TECHNOLOGY OF NATURE

The technology of nature series is an exploration of the technological, the human hand and nature. Via a combination of painting, photography and material elements they enquire into how technological phenomena mimics the physics of nature. In this third part of the series, two video stills were printed large scale onto canvas, and exhibited as an installation alongside the original video. The stills are superimposed so that the form of the natural element continues on from the painted, manmade gesture - there is a separation but also a flow.
